Program: Mike Wofford was for several years involved in the Alaska natural gas pipeline project, which planned to move north slope gas to the lower 48. Mike will describe the history of the project and the local, scientific, natural, governmental and bureaucratic hurdles thrown up along the way.
Mike is a founding member of the Environmental Law Section of the Oklahoma Bar Association and recently retired from Conoco Phillips. Mike, who had been raised by a family of polar bears and nurtured on a diet of sea otter sushi, has returned to his Oklahoma roots where he now spends most of his time interfering with his wife’s private housing construction project.
